If a QR code payment fails, the following are possible causes.
Insufficient balance
If QR payment fails due to insufficient balance or other reasons, please follow the steps below to try again.
<Procedure to make QR Code payment again>
- Tell the driver that your balance is insufficient and that you wish to make another QR payment.
- Charge the amount using the QR Code payment application.
- Press the "Close" button on the rear-seat tablet.
- Press the "Activate camera" button on the rear-seat tablet
- Press the "Pay" button on the QR code payment app such as PayPay, and the QR code will be re-generated and displayed.
- Display the passenger's QR code on the rear-seat tablet camera and have it scanned.
- The crew member processes the QR code payment settlement
The QR code has expired
The QR Code displayed on each QR Code payment application has an expiration date of about 5 minutes from the start of display.
Even if a QR Code that has expired is read correctly, the QR Code settlement company will determine that the code is not valid for settlement.
Once the QR Code has been scanned once, it will expire as well, so please regenerate it and retry.
<Procedure for making a QR Code payment again>
- Tell the driver that you want to make a QR Code payment again.
- Press the "Close" button on the rear-seat tablet.
- Press the "Start Camera" button on the rear-seat tablet.
- Press the "Pay" button on the QR Code payment application such as PayPay, and the QR Code will be re-generated (updated) and displayed.
- Display the passenger's QR code on the rear-seat tablet camera and have it scanned.
- The crew member processes the QR code payment.
The maximum number of times and the maximum amount of QR Code transactions per day have been exceeded.
Depending on the QR Code payment system, you may be able to set a limit on the number of times you can use the QR Code and the amount you can spend in a day. If you exceed that usage setting for the day, subsequent payments will fail. Please use other methods to pay in the car.
Please contact your QR Code payment service provider to change your spending settings.
The S.RIDE WALLET QR code displayed on the rear seat tablet has been read.
For QR code payment on the S.RIDE WALLET tablet, press the "Start Camera" button on the rear-seat tablet that is displayed when you pay after arriving at your destination, and read the QR code displayed on your QR code payment application into the rear-seat tablet's camera. Payment can be made by reading the QR code displayed on the customer's QR code payment application.
Please note that the QR code displayed on the rear seat tablet of S.RIDE WALLET, etc. cannot be read by your QR code payment application. (An error message will be displayed on the QR Code payment app, indicating that the code is an invalid QR Code, etc.)
