Overview / Preparation before boarding
What is online payment?
- You can smoothly pay for your fare without having to take out your wallet after arriving at your destination.
- You can use this service not only when using "Call Now", "Reservation", and "Advance Fare", but also when riding in a cab that is compatible with S.RIDE WALLET.
Select the card registered at the time of order → Upon arrival at the destination, the driver will operate the system to settle the fare.
#Please note
- Separate payment using cash or cab coupons is not possible with online payment.
- Please wait in the car until the driver confirms that the payment has been completed.
- If for some reason you are unable to make the payment, please use another method of payment in the car.
- If you have registered multiple credit cards with S.RIDE, you will not be able to switch to another registered credit card after placing a dispatch order and settling the bill.
- After completing online payment, you cannot change to another payment method other than online payment.
Credit card brands that can be registered
- We accept Visa/Master/JCB/American Express/Diners Club credit cards.
- Debit and prepaid cards can also be registered.
- ApplePay is available. (S.RIDE only accepts JCB and American Express cards that are set up for Apple Pay.)
- If you have signed up for CAB Card Mobile Payment, you can also follow the same procedure.
#Please note
- When you register, we may debit 1 yen and refund 1 yen as a validation of your card at the time of use.
- You may register up to 10 cards.
How to register to S.RIDE application
- Start S.RIDE
- Press "Menu
- Press "Payment Settings
- Press "Add Credit Card" (or "Add CAB Mobile" for CAB card)
- Fill in the required information and press "Register
If you turn on "Use as default payment method", the credit card that is turned on every time you start S.RIDE will be used for the order. You can also change it by pressing the card icon in the lower right corner of the order screen.
Change or delete registered credit card settings
- Launch S.RIDE
- Press "Menu
- Press "Payment Settings
- Press the credit card you want to change or delete
To change
- You can change the display name and default payment method.
- If the expiration date of the credit card has been updated, press "Delete" button and register again with the new expiration date.
In case of deletion
- Press the "Delete" button to delete the credit card registration.
How to check your online payment history
- Launch S.RIDE
- Press "Menu
- Press "Usage History (Ride History)".
- Press the corresponding ride history
- Please check the payment method
Payment has been made using the payment method listed in the "Payment Method" column.
